the retailing system in Maharashtra.Thus retail consists of sale of goods and services from individuals or
businesses to the end-user. A retailer earns profit by purchasing large quantities of goods and services
either from manufacturers directly or through a wholesale and he is a part of an integrated system called
the supply chain.1
