AGRICULTURAL MARKETING SYSTEM IN INDIA
Marketing is a process of bringing about the transfer of ownership of goods and services and arranging for direct distribution. India is an agricultural country. About 70 percent of India’s population is dependent on agriculture and subsistence farming.All the marketing activities which are carried out to reach the produce grown in the field to the consumers are called agricultural marketing. Agricultural marketing is the process that involves the process of grading, certification, storage, distribution etc. to reach the consumer of the goods produced by the farmers.
