Peer Review Policy
The International Journal of Management and Economics (IJME) follows a rigorous and
transparent peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original research in the
areas of management, economics, commerce, and interdisciplinary studies. The journal is
committed to upholding academic integrity, scholarly excellence, and ethical publishing
practices
IJME follows a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process to ensure impartial and unbiased
evaluation of manuscripts.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to thejournal’s scope, originality, adherence to submission guidelines, and compliance with ethical standards, including plagiarism checks. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may berejected at this stage without external review.
Manuscripts that pass the preliminary screening are reviewed by two independent subject experts. Reviewers evaluate submissions based on originality, research methodology, theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, and overall academic quality. Based on reviewers’ recommendations, manuscripts may be accepted, accepted with revisions, or rejected.
The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief, considering reviewers’ reports
and the journal’s quality standards. Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by any publication or processing charges.
All manuscripts and review reports are treated as confidential. Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest prior to accepting a review assignment, and manuscripts with potential conflicts are reassigned to ensure objectivity.
IJME strictly prohibits plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and duplicate submissions. Manuscripts violating ethical standards may be rejected or retracted at any stage of the publication process. The journal aims to complete the peer review process in a timely manner,
generally within two to four weeks
