The rapid infusion of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 technologies has structurally transformed the operational dynamics of manufacturing hubs across India. This paper investigates the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration on Human Resource (HR) personnel within the Pimpri- Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Industrial Area (MIDC), one of Asia’s largest industrial corridors. Focusing on automotive, engineering, and heavy manufacturing enterprises, this study evaluates how AI tools affect core HR workflows—ranging from high-volume bluecollar recruitment to compliance management and shift optimization.
